Mid engine, single seat vehicle. Built from scratch. (not a Kit) How this car came to be: Three years ago my wife left Des Moines for Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was driving a 1994 Chrysler LHS. Watch in HD - (if you have the internet connection to do so) This is me driving the Formula Brands Single Seater around Brands Hatch for around 15mins, (cut for youtube) I've never driven on the track, or these single seaters! I did not want to get thrown off by being silly and ruining my day or others, so I took every corner on the racing line and took my time, trying to be as smooth as possible as this is what the instructors insisted we do. my car was a bit crunchy on the old gears, and they are limited to 4000RPM so not very good for lap times, but they was good enough for a experience! Young drivers in the Middle East who dream of becoming the next Lewis Hamilton now have the opportunity to get themselves on the long road to F1 with the introduction of the Formula Gulf 1000 Championship. The Formula Gulf 1000 Championship will see a full grid of up to 20 local drivers aged between 15 and 25 racing head-to-head in identical single-seat wings and slicks race cars.
